This petition is filed for transfer of investigation of FIR bearing C.R. No.374 of 2015 registered with Khar Police Station to the Crime Branch or C.B.I.

Record reveals that the charge-sheet is filed on 5th January, 2015 and further investigation under Section 173(8) is continued and same is in progress.

Mr. Jayakar, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is satisfied if the investigation is supervised by the superior officers. Mr. Ponda, learned Counsel for the accused submitted that without admitting the allegations, investigation be supervised by the superior officers.

In the aforesaid circumstances and in the interest of justice, the petition is disposed of with direction to the DCP, Zone 9, Mumbai to supervise further investigation into the FIR bearing C.R. No.374 of 2015 registered with Khar Police Station. Ordered accordingly.
