Only grievance made in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is that the appeal filed by the petitioner on 16th August 2011 before the Secretary of the Irrigation Department of Government of Maharashtra is not being disposed of.

The learned AGP has no instructions regarding the status of the Appeal. Considering the limited controversy, we dispose of the petition by passing the following order:

(I) If the appeal preferred by the petitioner is still pending, the same shall be disposed of within a period of three months from the date on which an authenticated copy of this order is produced before the Appellate Authority;

(II) Writ Petition is disposed of.
