The application filed for bail in C. R. No.46 of 2017 registered with Barshi Police Station for the offences punishable under Section 20(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. Both sides are heard. Papers of investigation are made available for perusal of this Court. Chargesheet is filed.

The papers of investigation shows that on 24th January, 2017 on the basis of the specific information received by Aswale 1/2

26.ba.1316.17 the Police intercepted one two wheeler on which the present Applicants were present with a bag. When the search of the bag was taken in the presence of panch witness, Ganja weighing 8 kg was recovered. Ganja is seized and sample is sent to C. A. office. Submissions made show that right from 24th January, 2017, the Applicants are behind bars. The submissions made show that the Applicants have no bad antecedents. The Applicants are residents of Barshi. In view of the circumstances of the case and as it is not certain as to how much time will require to complete the trial, the Applicants cannot be kept behind the bars till the disposal of the case. The application is allowed. The Applicants are to be released on bail on their furnishing P. B. and S. B. of Rs. 15,000/- by each of them (Rupees Fifteen Thousands Only). The Applicants are not to tamper with the prosecution witnesses. The Applicants are not to commit similar offences.
