Heard the learned APP.

The petitioner in both the writ petitions has raised two fold grievance; firstly the Special Court established under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act, 1999 (MCOCA) may be directed to expedite the trial and secondly he should be produced before the Court on each date of hearing fixed by the said Court.

It appears that, the petitioner was produced through Video Conferencing however, he was not satisfied and therefore, he prayed that he should be produced physically in the said Court. Dnyaneshwar Ethape, PA

Since the offences registered against the prisoner is of the year 2014, and this application is filed in the year 2017, the trial in the Special Case might have been completed. However, in case the trial in the Special Case is not yet completed, we direct the concerned Court to expedite the trial of the said case and take it to its logical end including pronouncement of judgment as expeditiously as possible, however within a period of one year from the receipt of the copy of this order. 5.
The petitioner shall be produced before the concerned Court in case, the said case is pending on each date of effective hearing. 6.
Needless to observe that, the parties shall extend full cooperation for early disposal of the said Special Case. 7.
With the above observations, Both Writ Petitions stand disposed of.
