Heard Mr. Amit Thorat learned counsel for the applicant. Heard Mrs.Gajare-Dhumal learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor informs that she has taken instructions from the Investigating Officer about the past criminal record of the applicant. She submits that some cases had been instituted against the applicant, but all have resulted in acquittal. She submits that, at the moment, no cases of any offences are pending against the applicant.

Considering that all the other accused in this case have already been released on bail, that the applicant is in custody since February 2014 and that even a charge has not yet been famed, I am inclined to grant one opportunity of availing of liberty to the applicant. However, I intend to impose certain conditions upon the applicant.

The application is allowed.

The applicant is ordered to be released on bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, with one surety in the like amount, on the condition that he shall report to Manor Police Station between 5-00 p.m. to 7-00 p.m. on every Sunday and every Thursday till the disposal of the case against him.
