This is an application seeking permission to amend the writ petition in terms of the schedule of draft amendment filed by the Applicants/Petitioners. The schedule of draft amendment is taken 5th January 2024

Ms. Shah, learned counsel for the Applicants/Petitioners states that the pleadings which she seeks to bring on record by way of amendment were not within the knowledge of the Applicants/Petitioners at the time of filing the petition. Mr. Patel, learned AGP appears for Respondent No.1-State and Mr. Singh, learned counsel appears for Respondent No.2. The Respondents do not have any objection allowing the amendment application.

Application is allowed. Leave is granted to the Applicants to amend the Petition in terms of schedule furnished by them. The amendment is to be carried out within a period of two weeks from today. Copy of the amended petition is to be filed and served on all the Respondents within a period of one week thereafter. 3.

List the Petition on 7th February 2024.
