The applicant/accused was arrested on 13th January, 2018 by the officers of the Anti-Terrorist Squad, Mumbai for committing offences under sections 20, 38 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (hereinafter referred to as "U.A.P.A. Act") read with sections 465, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code (hereinafter referred to as "the IPC"). 2.
One of the grounds for bail is non-filing of the chargesheet within stipulated period and thus, under section 167 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, bail is prayed.

A similar issue was raised in the Criminal Application Nos. 715 of 2018 and 716 of 2018. This Court by an order dated 17th December, 2018 allowed the said Criminal Applications and set aside the order dated 9th April, 2018 of extension of time to file the chargesheet. Thereafter, all the accused moved bail applications before the trial Court. 4.
Pursuant to the order dated 17th December, 2018, the present applicant/accused is also directed to move bail application before the trial Court.

Accordingly, liberty is granted.

With this, Bail Application is disposed of.
