The vehicle of the Petitioner is seized, as it was plying within the territorial limits of Greater Mumbai and the vehicle was more than eight years old.

The Petitioner points out similar order passed in various petitions. In view of that we follow the same course and pass the following order:

ORDER

a The vehicle, being subject matter of this Petition, shall be released to the Petitioner subject to the following conditions: Basavraj

9.WP.9397.2022.doc (i) The Petitioner filing an undertaking before this Court to the effect that the vehicle shall not be plied in the city of Mumbai and shall be taken out of the limits of city of Mumbai; and (ii) The Petitioner depositing a sum of Rs.10,000/- as fine with the concerned Regional Transport Office in respect of the vehicle.

(b) Only upon deposit of the sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with the concerned RTO and on production of authenticated copy of this order along with true copy of the undertaking given in this Court, the subject vehicle shall be released to the Petitioner.

(c) The Writ Petition is disposed of.
