This petition has been filed for quashing D.V. proceedings pending before the Court of JMFC at Panvel.

No notice was issued in this writ petition. Learned Advocate for the Petitioners places on record documents indicating the parties to have settled the matter before the Apex Court. Attention of this Court was adverted to the observations of the Apex Court in case of Divya Karansinh Jagjitsinh Sandhu vs. Karansinh Jagjitsinh Sandhu1.

Supreme Court in I.A. No.11426 of 2022 in Transfer Petition (Civil) No.91 of 2020 dtd. 1 April 2022.

The terms of settlement indicate the parties to have agreed to have D.V. proceedings quashed. For compliance of the terms of compromise, this petition has been circulated. Since the compromise was endorsed by the Hon'ble Apex Court and the order in that regard has been placed on record, this Court do not propose to even issue notice of this proceedings, to the Respondent. 5.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the petition stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (b). (R.G. AVACHAT, J.)
