1] This is an application sent through jail. This court by an order dated 26th June 2015 appointed Mr.Vishal Deshmukh as amicus curaie to espouse the cause of the applicant. 2] Heard Mr.Deshmukh. He submitted that the applicant by this application is seeking expeditious trial and in the alternative an order granting him bail as he is languishing in jail since his arrest on 16 th July 2011. Mr.Deshmukh further submitted that the charge sheet has been filed in the year 2011 itself. However, in last four years the

YBG ba1178-15 trial did not proceed.

3] In view of the fact that the offence is of the year 2011 and the applicant is in jail since July 2011, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial pertaining to C.R.No.124 of 2011 registered with Thane GRP police station and which is pending on the file of second Additional Sessions Judge, Kalyan and to be completed within one year from the date of receipt of this order. The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
