The learned counsel for the Petitioners has sought a direction to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint filed by the Petitioner.

The gist of the complaint of the Petitioner is that there are erroneous entries made and/or failure of the revenue authorities to make correct entries in the revenue record. This cause is correctable by taking out judicial proceeding provided under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

If the Petitioners are restricting the complaint against the private party, then the Petitioners have remedy to approach the Magistrate as provided under section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
