By an order dated 21.6.2017 the applicant was granted interim relief.

The first information report is lodged by Kumari Tamsil Rizvi aged about 20 years. It is stated that she got acquainted with the applicant on social media "whatsApp" and thereafter their acquaintance was transformed into friendship. That, the applicant thereafter proposed the first informant. It is further stated that on 19.1.2017 at about 11.30 a.m. the applicant held the hand of the first informant and pulled her near him and proposed her. The informant therefore lodged the first information report and an offence under Sections 354 and 506 of the I.P.C. is registered.

Ashok Nalawade aba-1013-17-18 record, this Court is of the view that for further investigation of the present crime, custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary.

In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an order dated 21.6.2017 is hereby confirmed. However, condition to attend the concerned police station is waived. 5.
