The Applicant, who is a convict, has prayed for temporary bail in this application. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the father of the Applicant is ailing and was advised to undergo surgery. To attend the surgery of his father, the Applicant may be released on a week's temporary bail.

Learned APP submits that the Police has recorded statement of the brother of Applicant namely Riyaz on 27 June 2016. We have perused the said statement. The operation of the father of the Applicant was to be performed on 26 June 2016, however, it is postponed by a week now. 3.

As the Applicant has brother and mother to take care of his father, we are not inclined to release the Applicant on temporary bail. Criminal Application No.746 of 2016 is rejected.
