This is an application for bail filed by the Applicant, who is facing trial in MCOC Special Case No.357 of 2020 on the file of learned Special Judge under MCOC Act, Greater Mumbai. It is stated that the Applicant was in custody in another case before Delhi Court from 2007 to 2017. The accused was shown as absconder in this case and the trial continued against the other co-accused. It is stated that co-accused has been convicted and the Applicant was taken in custody in this crime on 25/11/2019. Learned APP states that trial is at the fag end and only two witnesses-both investigating officers are to be examined. 2.

Considering the fact that the trial is almost at the fag end, I am 1/2

Megha 17_ba_2420_2021.doc not inclined to entertain the bail application at this stage. Hence, the bail application is dismissed.

Learned Special Judge under MCOC Act, Greater Mumbai, is directed to expedite the trial and in any event try to conclude the trial within a period of four months.
