On the last date, the learned AGP was directed to take instructions, the period in which the appeal pending before Respondent No.2 would be decided.

The learned AGP submits that at present the Hon'ble Minister has not taken charge of the Rural Development Department. Considering the above, we expect that after the Hon'ble Minister takes charge of the Rural Development Department, the appeal shall be decided on its own merits, preferably within three months.

The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
