The case of the petitioner is that the caste validity claim of the petitioner is pending before the Caste Scrutiny Committee, Konkan Division, Thane since 2013. However for non submission of his caste validity certificate, respondent Nos.3 and 4 have issued notice to the petitioner that if he fails to submit the caste validity certificate, his services shall be terminated.
2 904c) wp6169-18.doc According to the petitioner, till date his services have not be terminated for non submission of the caste validity certificate. 3.
Keeping in view the aforesaid, we dispose of the petition by directing the Caste Scrutiny Committee to consider and decide the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possible, but in any case not later than December 31, 2018. 4.
Till the petitioner's caste validity claim is decided by the Caste Scrutiny Committee, the petitioner services shall not be terminated on the ground of non submission of the caste validity certificate, if not already terminated.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
