In furtherance of the order dated 22/06/2022, the applicant makes a statement that the gold ornaments worth Rs.8,60,000/- are handed over to the complainant. The complainant, who is personally present in the court, through his counsel makes a statement that he has received the same.

Perusal of the FIR would reveal that the complainant has alleged that the ornaments, which were handed over to his mother, came to be handed over to the applicant and retained by her in a locker. Since the gold ornaments have been received, the complainant has no grievance. The complainant, who is present in the court, undertakes to file his affidavit in support of the petition for quashing of the subject C.R.

In the wake of the above, the applicant is entitled for being released on bail, in the event of her arrest. Hence, the following order:

ORDER

(a) The applicant - Usha Gul Mansukhani shall be released on bail in C.R. No.723 of 2022 registered with Malad Police Station, District Mumbai on executing P.R. bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one or two sureties of the like amount.

(b) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with facts of case and shall not tamper with prosecution evidence.

(c) The applicant shall report to the Malad Police
