After arrest of the applicant on 2nd June, 2021 in Crime No.15 of 2021 registered with Kopri Thane City Police Station for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420 r/w 34 of IPC, on behalf applicant, his wife Ashwini has deposited Rs.12,00,000/- whereas father has deposited Rs.5,00,000/- with Senior Inspector of the non-applicant police station.

Apart from above, a categorical statement on instructions made that additional amount of Rs.28,00,000/- shall be deposited in three installments of Rs.9,00,000/- each in another nine months.

Since this statement is made on instructions (from wife and father), same is accepted as an undertaking. BGP.

In the aforesaid background, it is directed that applicant be released on bail in Crime No.15 of 2021 registered with Kopri Thane City Police Station for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409, 420 r/w 34 of IPC on furnishing P. R. bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. 5.
Applicant shall neither influence the witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence.

The statement that applicant shall be depositing with Investigating Officer first installment of Rs.9,00,000/- on or before 31st March, 2022, 2nd installment on or before 30th June, 2022 and 3rd installment by 30th September, 2022 is accepted as an undertaking.

In case, if applicant fails to honour the undertaking of deposit of the amount in the time stipulated, the protection ordered shall cease to operate without further reference to the Court and the Investigating Officer shall be at liberty to take the applicant in custody.

Application stands disposed of accordingly.
