The Petitioner, who is resident of village Talwade (Kherlekhind), taluka Alibag, district Raigad, has sought to bring to the notice of the authorities under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 that Gat No.119 situated in the said village, that the gairan land in village is being encroached upon. He has annexed the representations made to the authorities in that regard.

While we do not recognise any special locus in the Petitioner, we only note that if a government land is being occupied by unauthorised constructions, it is a matter that the Collector should look into.
