The learned APP, Mr.Konde-Deshmukh tenders a letter dated 10th July, 2018 addressed to the Government Pleader, High Court, Bombay, by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dinesh M. Desai, in which letter it has been mentioned that the proceedings against the Petitioner i.e. the chapter proceedings, are dropped.

In view thereof, the grievance of the Petitioner does not survive. The letter dated 10th July, 2018, is taken on record and marked as "X' for identification.
