P.C.:- By an Order dated 8th June 2018, the Applicant was granted interim relief, predominantly on the ground that he is about 83 years old.

The learned APP, on instructions from the Investigating Officer submitted that, it is a matter of fact that the Applicant is aged about 83 years as of today. She submitted that, after taking into consideration the age of the Applicant, the Applicant may be directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for and to join the process of investigation and particularly for to give specimen of his hand writing and/or signature.

ssm 2 30-aba1096.18.sxw In view of the fair statement made by the learned APP, interim relief granted on 8th June, 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the Applicant is directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. on receipt of a notice under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure from the Investigating Officer and to join the process of investigation till submission of the final report.
