The above Writ Petition is filed for quashing of the FIR which is registered for the offence punishable under Section 376 of the IPC.

Having regard to the fact that the said offence is said to be an offence against the society, this Court does not deem it appropriate to exercise its writ jurisdiction for quashing of the FIR. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.
