Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP.

The petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, for quashing and setting aside FIR bearing C.R.No.00/15, registered with Mahatma Phule Chowk Police Station, Pune, for the offences punishable u/s 498-A, 406, Nesarikar
2 / 2 69-WP-2286-17.odt 323, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3, 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The copy of FIR is annexed at page No.27 of the petition. We have gone through the FIR. The respondent No.2 has alleged that all the petitioners demanded dowry of Rs.10,00,000/- and ornaments of 15 tolas and on that account she was harrased. The allegations are also made u/s 406 of the Indian Penal Code that Stridhan is retained with the petitioners. 4.
In the above circumstances no case is made out. The petition is dismissed.
