By this Petition the Petitioner has challenged the order dated 12 June 2018 passed by the Tahsildar, Shirur, Pune whereby changes have been carried out in the Revenue record resulting in deletion of the Petitioner's name. The Petitioners have a remedy under the Land Revenue Code, 1966 to file an Appeal. Digitally signed by RAJESHWARI SUBODH KARVE Date:

The learned AGP states that the Appeal is in fact filed and RAJESHWARI SUBODH KARVE orders thereupon are awaited.

In view of this position, we are not inclined to interfere. Needless to state that the changes are carried out will be subject to decision in Appeal. As regards the Petitioner's grievance that the Petitioners are likely to be dispossessed, it is always for them to file substantive proceedings to protect their possession, if the Petitioners are in possession as such.
