The learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos.2 and 3 states that the National Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication Programme is already over. We accept the said statement. The affidavit filed by the respondent Nos.2 and 3 records that the services of the teachers were requisitioned only for the purpose of the said programme. Hence by accepting the aforesaid statement, we dispose of this petition. All contentions on merits are kept open.
