DATE : JUNE 18, 2019 P.C.:- Learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, makes a motion for withdrawal of the petition with liberty to canvass the issue of eligibility of petitioners to claim residential structure before the authority. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed.

Needless to clarify that the authority shall decide the eligibility of petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case not beyond the period of six months from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, makes a further statement that the possession of the premises will be handed over to respondents within a period of one week from today and requests that no coercion action be taken till then. Since the statement is made on instruction, the same is accepted as an undertaking.

In view of the statement, Mr.Godbole, learned counsel for the respondents gives an undertaking that the petitioners will not be evicted or the structure will not be demolished for a period of one week from today.
