We have heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners. The learned AGP informs that the process of selection of the Vice Chancellor has commenced. The Hon'ble Governor has constituted a Search Committee consisting of Dr. Abhay Karandikar, Shri Deepak Kapoor and Dr. Meena R. Chandawarkar. It is further submitted that the advertisement has been issued on 28th February 2023 and the last date for inviting Applications is 30th March 2023 and thereafter the process would be concluded for selection and appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The said statement is accepted.
