This is an application for bail in C.R. No. 27 of 2020 registered with Bhandup Police Station, Mumbai for offences under Sections 397, 323, 504, 506(2) r/w Section 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short "IPC") 2.

2021.03.20 18:26:03 +0530 on 20th January, 2020. It is alleged that the applicant and others are RajeP.

Aher creating terror in the area and they are demanded hafta. On 19th January, 2020, the accused accosted the complainant and pointed knife at the complainant. The accused had demanded money for consuming liquor which was refused by the complainant. At the pointing of knife, the amount of Rs. 1,720/- was snatched by the accused. The applicant had allegedly caught the complainant. The Sajakali Jamadar

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that there are no criminal antecedents against the applicant. He is in custody from the date of arrest. Considering the factual aspects of this matter and also fact that the applicant is in custody from 1st February, 2020, bail can be granted. Hence, I pass the following order:

ORDER

(i) Criminal Bail Application No. 1188 of 2020 is allowed; (ii) The applicant is directed to be released on bail in connection with C.R. No. 27 of 2020 registered with Bhandup Police Station, Mumbai on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount; (iii) The applicant shall report concerned Police Station once in three month on first Saturday of the month between 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. till further order;

(iv) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence. (v) The applicant is permitted to furnish cash bail security in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety.
