The above Writ Petition is filed seeking the following reliefs :

(a) To call for necessary record from the respondents.

(b) To issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or direction in the like nature and may direct the Respondent No.4 to enter name of the Petitioner in 7/12 extract of land Gat Nos.20, 48, 254 and 529 situated at Mouje-Dudhani, Tal. Akkalkot, Dist. Solapur.

We are of the view that the reliefs as claimed cannot be granted. However, the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner is a Senior Citizen and she had made a representation to the Authority way back as on 7th June 2022 and that has not yet been decided by concerned authority. He, therefore, seeks a limited relief that the concerned Authority be directed to decide the said representation of the Petitioner.

In these circumstances, looking at the nature of the limited relief sought, it is directed that the Tahasildar shall decide the representation of the Petitioner, dated 7th June 2022 (Exh. "F"- Page 35 of the Paper Book) as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of eight weeks from today. Before passing any order, the Tahasildar shall give a personal hearing to the Petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of . No order as to costs.
