The learned counsel for the Applicant states that the material witnesses have not identified the Applicant. 3.

Mr.Venegaonkar, the learned counsel for Respondent No.1 pointed out that the trial has commenced, in which four witnesses have already been examined. He states that the prosecution is proposing to examine three to four witnesses and therefore the trial is likely to be concluded within a couple of months.

The learned counsel for the Applicant, in such circumstances, states that the trial may be expedited and liberty may be granted to the Applicant to renew the request if the trial is not concluded within a period fixed by this Court. 4.

In view of the submission at bar the present Criminal Application is disposed of. The learned Sessions Judge is directed to proceed with the trial as expeditiously as possible. Liberty is granted to the Applicant to renew the request for bail, in the event the trial is not concluded within three months. 5.

It is made clear that this Court has not examined the merits of the matter.
