The grievance of the Petitioner is that his caste validity claim is pending since 25th July, 2006. Thereafter also another application was filed on 26th July, 2013 but Respondent No. 2 - Divisional Schedule Caste Scrutiny Committee (in short "the Committee") has not decided the Petitioner's caste claim as yet. 4.
Having regard to the aforesaid without commenting upon the merits of the matter, we are inclined to dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 2 - Committee to decide the Petitioner's application for validation of caste claim, if the same is Vishal Parekar 1/2
531-wp-7031-2017.doc still pending, as expeditiously as possible but not later than four months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before the said Committee.

The Petitioner to appear before the Committee on 12th July, 2017 at 11.00 am and produce the authenticated copy of this order.

Till the matter is finally decided by the Committee, no further steps in pursuance to the order dated 31st May, 2017 issued by the Respondent No. 4 be taken. However, it is made clear that if the matter is decided by the Committee against the Petitioner, the Respondent No. 4 shall be at liberty to implement the said order. 7.
