The above Petition takes exception to dated 21/05/2015 passed by the Permanent Lok Adalat, Pune in its sitting held on the said day. The Lok Adalats are established under the Legal Services Authority Act, 1987. The Lok Adalats are one of the facets of the alternate disputes resolution mechanism. In my view, therefore the writ jurisdiction of this Court cannot be invoked to challenge an order passed by a Lok Adalat, the above Writ Petition is therefore misconceived and is accordingly dismissed on the said ground.
