The Appeal is already admitted. In this application, notice was issued to the Respondent No.2 which is duly served as per noting of office.

The applicant was convicted for commission of offences punishable under sections 509 and 504 r/w. 34 of I.P.C., under sections 3(1)(10) [3(1)(r)] of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (for short ' SC & ST Act'), as well as, under section 7(1)(d) of the Protection of Civil Digitally signed by VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Date:

2022.10.11 13:44:11 +0530 Rights Act 1955. The major punishment imposed on the applicant VINOD BHASKAR GOKHALE Gokhale

was for six months of simple imprisonment, besides imposition of fine.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the main quarrel was between the informant and father in law of the applicant. Father in law of the applicant died during pendency of the trial and, therefore, the trial proceeded only against the applicant. She was on bail during trial and has not misused that liberty.

Considering this short sentence and the fact that the applicant was on bail during trial and has not misused that liberty, the applicant can be granted bail during pendency of this appeal. 5.

Hence, the order:

O R D E R

a)During pendency and final disposal of Criminal Appeal No.631 of 2022, the applicant is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs.30,000/- with one or two

sureties in the like amount.

b)The Application stands disposed of.
