This petition is moved for urgent orders. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner prays for extension of protection granted to him by order dated 19.7.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge (Coram: Nitin W. Sambre, J.) for a further period of eight weeks.

It appears that while the learned learned Single has dismissed the Application for Anticipatory Bail as withdrawn, however, granted protection for eight weeks and directed the

13_wp.3273.2021.doc respondents not to take coercive action against the petitioner. In our considered view, the prayer for such extension of protection cannot be granted when the Anticipatory Bail Application was already dismissed as withdrawn. The writ petition is, therefore, rejected.
