Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in the above petitions seeks liberty to withdraw these petitions on instructions with liberty to file the proceedings under section 35-A of the Maharashtra Slum Areas (Improvement, Clearance & Redevelopment) Act, 1971. The statement is accepted.

The respondents shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioners for a period of two weeks from today in implementing the impugned order. It is made clear that if appropriate proceedings are not initiated within one week from today, interim protection granted by this Court to stand vacated without further reference to the Court. 4.

The above writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty granted as aforesaid. No order as to costs.

The petitioners are directed to convey this order to the respondents before 16th April, 2018.
