According to the learned Counsel for petitioner, in the absence of Caste Validity Certificate, the college in which the petitioner is studying, is bent upon to cancel the petitioner's admission for the absence of Caste Validity Certificate. He submits that the petitioner's caste validation claim is pending before the Caste Scrutiny URS 1 of 2
2 WP 9975-16.doc-P-57 Committee since 2015. He also submitted that there is no fault on the part of the petitioner as the petitioner had immediately applied for validation of the certificate but as the matter is pending before the Committee, the validation of certificate could not be done/obtained. 4.
Having considered the aforesaid submissions made by the learned Counsel for petitioner, we are inclined to dispose of this petition by directing the Caste Scrutiny Committee to consider and take appropriate decision on the petitioner's claim as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months. Till the petitioner's claim is decided by the Committee, no coercive steps be taken by the respondents in regard to the admission of the petitioner. 5.
Petition stands disposed of.
