Heard the learned Advocate appearing for the Applicant and learned additional P.P. for the State. The applicant is facing trial for the offences punishable under section 302 and other sections in the Court of Sessions at 41st Court,Gr. Mumbai. His prayer is for expeditious hearing of the sessions case. It is stated that the charge has been framed six months ago. If the charge is framed about six months back, it follows that the trial should begin and it shall be completed as early as possible.
It is directed that the trial be expedited and it be concluded within a period of nine months from today. Criminal Application stands disposed of accordingly. (JUDGE) Borey 1/1
