Learned counsel for the applicant does not press this application and requests that the learned trial Judge be directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within three months.
Learned A.P.P submits that 12 witnesses have been examined till date and that 7 more witnesses are to be examined. She submits that the next date in the trial Court is 18th July 2018. SQ Pathan 1/2
ba.1375.18.8.doc This is the second bail application. The first application was withdrawn after arguing for some time. Liberty was granted to the applicant to file a fresh application, if the trial did not conclude within a reasonable time i.e. within 12 months.
It appears that 12 witnesses have been examined so far and that 7 more witnesses are to be examined. Having regard to the fact that the applicant is a lady with two small children, the learned Judge shall endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, on or before 31st October 2018.
The application is disposed of as withdrawn in the aforesaid terms.
Registrar (Judicial-I) to communicate the above order to the leaned trial Judge, forthwith.
