CORAM : S.C. DHARMADHIKARI & B.P. COLABAWALLA, JJ.

TUESDAY, 17TH JANUARY, 2017 P.C. :

1.

It is stated by Mr. Sonpal appearing on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 2 that these matters have been regularly listed for hearing and final disposal. They are listed at Item No.1. We have also noticed over a passage of time that whenever these matters are called out, none appear on behalf of the petitioners. The writ petitions were to be disposed of by a common judgment. SRP 1/2

ASWP3420.96.doc That is how the order passed on 4th July, 1996, reads. We have found that the advocate is not interested in arguing the petitions. In these circumstances, there is no point in keeping these petitions pending. They are, therefore, dismissed for want of prosecution.
