The sole petitioner has expired and no steps have been taken for bringing his legal heirs on record. This fact was noted by this Court vide order dated 19th September 2019. By order dated 29th September 2023, it was recorded that advocate for respondent would be filing an application for bringing the legal heirs of deceased sole petitioner on record.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the concerned advocate has intimated her in writing that no instructions have been received from the legal heirs of sole petitioner. 3.

In view of the above, Writ Petition No. 5359 of 2001 is dismissed as having abated.
