On expressing my disinclination to entertain the application, on considering the clear-cut role of the applicant emerging through the case of the prosecution as compiled in the charge-sheet, learned counsel seeks permission to withdraw the application.

Learned counsel for the applicant is, however, perfectly justified in submitting that the applicant is incarcerated since 13/12/2016 and, therefore, trial should be expedited. M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 33 BA-2753-21.doc I find substance in the said submission and, hence, the City Civil & Sessions Court, who is seized of Sessions Case No.219 of 2017, is requested to expeditiously conclude the trial within a period of one year from today. The applicant is at liberty to renew his request, if the trial is not concluded during the aforesaid period.
