We have heard the learned Counsel. Learned Counsel submitted that the Petitioner was promoted as head mistress. The proposal was also send seeking approval of appointment as head mistress. The same is not yet decided. The Petitioner would retire on 31st July, 2022. The proposal is also required to be filed for pension. We have heard the learned AGP. Unless the proposal seeking approval to the promotion as Head Mistress is approved by the authorities, the pension proposal of the Petitioner claiming the scale of the Head Mistress cannot be approved.

15.wp8662.2022.doc 2/2 The Respondent No. 2 shall take decision on the proposal seeking approval of the Petitioner as Head Mistress on its own merits preferably within 3 months. Depending upon the decision taken by the Respondent No. 2, further process be undertaken for forwarding the proposal for pension thereafter. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly with no order as to costs.
