Mr.Desai, the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution is restricted to a direction to the Respondent No.2Director General of Foreign Trade to dispose of the Petitioner's application dated 23 November 2016. The above application seeks:- (a) deletion of the Petitioner's name from the Denied Entity List; and (b) issue of Export Obligation Discharge Certificate in respect of

skn 2 8161.19-wp.doc two Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Licences. 2.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner fairly states that consequent to the order of this Court dated 4 October 2018, the Respondent No.2 has now commenced the hearing of the Petitioner's application dated 23 November 2016.

Mr.Mishra, learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.1 and 2, on instructions from Mr.Anil Kanse, Foreign Trade Development Officer, states that the hearing of the Petitioner's application dated 23 November 2016 is in progress and the same would be disposed of within a period of four weeks from today. The above statement made on behalf of Respondent No.2 by Mr.Kanse is accepted.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
