These are the applications filed by the applicant for suspension of sentence and bail.

The appeal is not likely to be heard soon. Considering that the sentence imposed of one year rigorous imprisonment is a short sentence and as the applicant was on bail during the trial, I am inclined to suspend the sentence.

The sentence imposed by the judgment and order dated 09/05/2023 in the Sessions Case No. 280 of 2021 by the Sessions Court is accordingly suspended.

The applicant be enlarged on bail, on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

5.

The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station once a month, on the first Monday of every month, between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for a period of 4 months, commencing February-2024.

6.

Interim applications are disposed of in the above terms.
