DATED : 8th SEPTEMBER 2022 P.C:- The present applicant seek modification of providing local sureties imposed on him in the order dated 31/7/2021, while he was released on bail in C.R.No.I-376/2018 registered with Samata Nagar police station.

The learned counsel for the applicant would submit that it is more than a year when he was directed to be released on bail, but since he was unable to furnish local sureties, he still continue to be incarcerated. The specific statement advanced is that the applicant is not in a position to obtain local sureties, since his family belong to State of Uttarakhand. She state that she can Tilak

2/2 65 IA 1957-22.doc arrange for the surety from the said State. On furnishing the surety, and subject to the same being verified by the concerned Court, the sureties from State of Uttarakhand shall be accepted. The order dated 31/7/2021 be modified to that extent.
