Petitioner's grievance is that respondent authority is not renewing permit licenses of auto rickshaw after expiry of the same. 3.

Respondents 1 and 2 have filed affidavit-in-reply. The deponent Anil Sakharam Patil contends that 1355 permits have been renewed by the Regional Transport Authority, Pune. 47 applications of late renewal permits were filed for special reasons like bed ridden permit holders,

2/2 wp7556.14.sxw death of permit holders, widows of permit holders and missing cases of permit holders. Such applications were also considered on humanitarian grounds and the permits were renewed.

We observe that respondent authority shall attend to the applications in accordance with acts and rules framed thereunder. 5.
