This is the application preferred through jail asking for relaxation of condition of bail during pendency of appeal. 2.

The applicant/appellant had filed appeal through private Advocate Mr. Silvin Kale challenging his conviction for the offence punishable under Section 376(2)(f) of IPC. He is sentenced to suffer RI for seven years. The appeal was already admitted and the applicant was directed to be released on bail in the sum of Rs.40,000/-. Said amount of surety was thereafter reduced by another order of this Court dated 4th 1 / 2

51.APPA.730-15.doc March, 2015 and he was directed to be released on bail in the sum of Rs.15,000/-. Now still present application, through jail, is preferred asking for his release on only the Personal Recognizance i.e. PR bond.

Considering the seriousness of the offence and his conviction for seven years, the application preferred through jail is not allowed and the same is dismissed. Present order be communicated to the applicant/appellant through the concerned jail authorities.
