DATE :

20th JULY 2017 P.C. :

None appears for the petitioner. The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to granting license to respondent no.3, thereby approving grant of franking machine to respondent no.3. The State, in its affidavit, has made clear that respondent no.3 already had a stamp vendors license and after the impugned communication has started sale of stamp by franking. That would avk 1/2

210-WP-5580-2006.doc in no way affect the petitioner. It is not a case that respondent no.3 was granted a fresh license. Respondent no.3 already had a license of stamp vendor and was granted approval of franking machine and subsequently, the Maharashtra E-Registration / Filing Rules 2013 have come into operation. The same is not the subject matter of the present writ petition.

In light of the above, writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
