By the impugned order, the Trial Court directed the petitioner (father) to pay Rs.20,000/- to the child towards monthly interim maintenance from the date of application. The respondentwife filed an application for interim maintenance on 29th June 2018. The application is allowed by order dated 18th March 2023. As per the finding recorded by the Trial Court, the petitioner is working in Burcklays Technology Centers as business analyst and is earning Rs.1,58,000/- per month. He also earns house rent. Though the material on record indicates that the mother is earning Rs.73,000/- per month. However, considering the status of parties, amount of Rs.20,000/- towards interim maintenance of the child cannot be termed as unreasonable. Therefore, in my opinion, no

40-wp8306-2023.doc case for interference under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is made out.

The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
