On perusal of the material compiled in the charge-sheet, when I expressed my disinclination to entertain the present application, the learned senior counsel Mr.Patil seeks permission to withdraw the same. He would, however, submit that the applicant is incarcerated since 26/12/2018 and even till date, the charge is not framed. He would submit that speedy trial is a right of every accused and this very right is being defeated, as the charge is not yet framed though almost M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 31 BA-2775-21.doc four years have elapsed from his arrest. He seeks liberty to renew his request for being released on bail, if the charge is not framed within one year from today. I am inclined to grant such liberty.

The application stands disposed off as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
